Terms and Conditions

By accessing, scheduling, or receiving services from our practice—whether medical or aesthetic in nature—you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services, website, and related offerings, and establish a clear understanding between you (“the client” or “the patient”) and Risson Medical & Aesthetics (“we,” “our,” or “the practice”). Please read this agreement carefully before proceeding with any form of consultation, treatment, or purchase.

Eligibility and Client Responsibility

To receive services, clients must be at least 18 years of age or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian if under 18. By booking an appointment, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are fully capable of making medical or aesthetic decisions concerning your health and wellness. Clients are responsible for maintaining updated medical records and communicating any changes in their health status, medications, allergies, or other conditions that may impact the safety or effectiveness of the services rendered.

Scope of Services

Risson Medical & Aesthetics offers a combination of traditional primary care and advanced aesthetic treatments. Our core aesthetic offering is the Customized Glow Aerolase Facial using the Aerolase Neo Elite laser system, which is personalized for each client following a skin evaluation by one of our licensed providers. In addition to this, we offer services for acne, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, aging skin, and other dermatological concerns, alongside routine and comprehensive primary medical care. All services are administered by qualified professionals under appropriate supervision, and all recommendations are based on clinical evaluation and best practice standards. However, results may vary based on individual conditions, health factors, and adherence to post-treatment guidelines.

Medical Disclaimer

Our treatments, including but not limited to the Aerolase Neo Elite laser, are intended for aesthetic and dermatological improvement and are not guaranteed to provide any specific outcome. While many clients experience significant benefits, all services are provided on an “as is” basis, and the practice does not make any guarantees, warranties, or promises regarding the outcome of any service. Our aesthetic services do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We encourage patients to consult with their primary healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions unrelated to the services offered at our clinic.

Appointment Booking and Cancellation Policy

Appointments for all services must be scheduled in advance through our website, by phone, or in person. Due to the customized nature of our treatments and the time allocated for each session, we ask that clients notify us of any need to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a cancellation fee or result in the forfeiture of a deposit, depending on the service booked. We reserve the right to decline rescheduling privileges to clients who repeatedly cancel or miss appointments without adequate notice. Our goal is to respect our clients’ time as well as that of our practitioners.

Payment Terms and Insurance

We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards and FSA/HSA accounts for eligible services. Aesthetic treatments are considered elective and are not covered by insurance. We do not guarantee reimbursement from insurance providers for any portion of services rendered, unless explicitly indicated under primary medical care. Payment for aesthetic services is due at the time of service unless a package or promotional arrangement is in place. For medical care visits covered by insurance, co-pays and deductibles must be paid upfront in accordance with the patient’s health plan. We encourage clients to verify coverage and eligibility with their insurance provider prior to their visit.

Refunds and Returns

Due to the customized and service-based nature of our treatments, we do not offer refunds for completed services. Packages and prepaid treatments are non-refundable but may be transferable to another individual upon written request and clinic approval. Skincare products purchased through our office are eligible for return within 14 days if unopened, unused, and in original condition. Opened or used products are not eligible for return unless they are defective or there is a documented allergic reaction. In such cases, please contact us immediately so we can assess the issue and offer an appropriate resolution.

Consent to Treatment

By undergoing any procedure or treatment at Risson Medical & Aesthetics, you affirm that you have had the opportunity to ask questions and have received sufficient information to give informed consent. This includes understanding the potential risks, benefits, side effects, and expected results of the service or treatment being provided. For aesthetic procedures, a written consent form must be signed before each new treatment. If, at any time, you are unsure about the appropriateness or safety of a procedure, it is your responsibility to notify your provider and refrain from continuing with treatment until your concerns are addressed.

Our website is intended to provide information about our practice, services, and general skin health and wellness. It does not substitute for direct consultation or personalized medical advice. By using our website, you agree not to misuse or attempt to extract unauthorized data from our systems. Clients may opt into appointment reminders, newsletters, or promotional emails; however, you may unsubscribe at any time. Privacy and Confidentiality

We uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and applicable state laws. All medical and personal information you provide to our practice is treated as strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of delivering high-quality care. Your data will not be shared, sold, or transferred to any third party without your express consent. For educational or promotional purposes, we may request to use anonymized before-and-after photos or testimonials, but only with your written permission.

Liability and Indemnification

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and effective treatment, we shall not be held liable for any adverse reaction, injury, or unsatisfactory result stemming from services provided, especially where post-care instructions were not followed. By receiving treatment, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the practice, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or legal fees arising from your use of our services. This limitation of liability applies to all services rendered under the aesthetic and medical branches of the practice.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on our website and are effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services or platform after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage clients to periodically review this document to stay informed.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Risson Medical & Aesthetics operates. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts, with venue in the jurisdiction closest to our physical location.
